-KR- KSS Skinpack 2010

KSS SKIN PACK 1:

Well it has come to Admin decision that the
KR skinpack shall start so i can put them into The KR Server to get ready for the racing coming up this season, skin pack entrys close when admin decide a good time so if you get 1nz,2nz or 3nz you can put it on your car.
Rules:

1.The Numbers Should be visible to read.

2.No inappropriate SignWritting or Pictures

3.No Unknown Upgrades eg:Wings,Bonnets.

4.Skins will need to include the drivers text, main skin extra1, and extra 3. All other extras are optional.

5.Skins must be of an acceptable standard.

6.Numbers must be located on the following parts of the car:
-Both sides of the body
-Both sides of the wing
-The rear of the body (Optional)

7.Each driver may have one alternative skin if they like. Skins sent in with more then one will not be accepted

When sending please include the Wildcard.dds, WildcardEXTRA1.dds, WildcardEXTRA3.dds. All other extras are optional but please make sure that they are sent in the correct size (The original size of the template).

You will also need to add in what body, bonnet and wing combo you would like for your car so we can adjust the genstring files. When putting your car in game please either copy the sample car or a car with the exact same body/bonnet/wing combination you want to run.

If you don't know how to convert into .dds send your files as a .tga please.

Please note Real-life skins will be accepted.

P.S these will be skins for the skinpack so make them slick ;D

Help painting and putting templates in game;

First off you will need a program to make your custom car with.
E.G: Photoshop, Paint.net or GIMP (Google is your friend)
Then you need the KSS Kiwi Superstock templates which you will find at this link

Then if you have painted all 3 templates in the cars folder you are creating and you save them all into one folder Eg: If the folder is called yourname then i would save my car template as that and extra1 and extra2 as yournameEXTRA1 And yournamewExtra3 BUT When you are saving it you have to save it with a .DDS Plugin Which you will find on google EG: Photoshop cs5 DDS Plugin or something like that.
Then when all 3 are saved as a .DDS Plugin in that folder you have to go to Mycomputer\C:\Program Files\rFactor\GameData\Vehicles\NZSuperstocks\NZSuperstocks\teams\Sample Cars\Sample. In there you will find the .veh for the car you are painting so you would select the .veh for the car you are painting and write it like this

It will come up with that but only change the things i highlight
Then you save that into your skin folder as yourname.veh for example with your templates you have painted in it.
THEN. . .
You copy your folder with your car in it and you go to C:\Program Files\rFactor\GameData\Vehicles\NZSuperstocks\NZSuperstocks\teams Then paste into your track folder then it should be ingame unless you have done something wrong along the way.

This maybe my car for this season if i get the thumbs up from Edwards Racecars and if the change a few things

will this skin pack make it to on other severs, will it be in differnet folder, sorry spelling

it wont unless you put your skin in the (KR does not allow these words! This is a warning) or (KR does not allow these words! This is a warning) skinpack or they Download our skinpack and put it into our server, Only Reason the (KR does not allow these words! This is a warning) skinpack runs on ours is because it has the gear change file, Where you can oly use 2 gears.

Thats about it i can get the skinpack done by saturday unless someone leaves a post under mine saying you want a car in the skinpack.

Every car is put into the skinpack all read to go apart from mine just wont bloody work!!
